At the 2006 Gaylaxicon in Toronto, Ontario, the Board voted to define membership in the Gaylactic Network as:

"GN Member (or Member): An individual who was a paid member of the most recent Gaylaxicon, is a paid member of an upcoming Gaylaxicon, or an individual who has paid current annual dues to the Gaylactic Network Treasurer."
